Hello, I'm Kristina Adams

Southern California wedding and editorial photographer

Every love story is unique, and I'm here to tell yours. With storytelling in mind, my approach to weddings is part editorial, part photojournalistic. Your excitement, joy, and moments shared throughout your wedding should all be captured along with your thoughtful details. It’s cliche but true that wedding days pass by so quickly but I love preserving moments in time so you remember how it all felt.

You can find my work on Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, BRIDES, Magnolia Rouge, People, & more.

Shooting weddings on medium format film - specifically on a Contax 645 - taught me so much about photography and myself as an artist. I shoot much more digital than film these days, but I am forever grateful for the experience (and for how far digital cameras have come!).

I didn't start my career as a photographer. I graduated from Harvard and started working in management consulting, and then transitioned to brand strategy. I loved the challenge of the corporate world but felt the calling to pursue photography full time.

My husband and I both have untraditional work schedules. He's a firefighter in Los Angeles and I'm a wedding photographer so we're often working weekends and you'll find us doing beach days and family trips with our 2-year-old son on weekdays instead.

I'm a total francophile. I spent a semester in Paris and I learned to shoot and develop film, and fell in love with all things French. We try to go back as often as we can and we celebrated my son's first New Years in Paris with champagne for the adults and pastries for Jack.
